I have no idea how you do it, Mark. Your words seem to find me whenever I need them. Sometimes I only notice I needed them to express something I thought only when I read them. After reading the first two sentences, I jumped straight into “Intrigue in Tangier”. Hearing the first vocals, I knew, felt I found something that just speaks to me.

Needless to say, I resonated with the whole rest of searching, finding, and growing.

Thank you, again and again for sharing your words, mind, and heart.

"That's What You Get" is one of my favorites

before my core teenage group of friends parted ways to pursue our adult selves we attended the concert of one of our collective favorite bands, sevendust.

this was a more intimate up close and personal show mostly played in acoustic at pierre's in the marketplace of canterbury in ft. wayne indiana.

they culminated with their song angel's son dedicated to the deceased leader singer of snot, lynn with whom they were very close friends with.

throughout the concert we laughed, sang, hugged one another, became the energy in the room.

we grew closer before growing apart.

I agree with Franc, your writings about love are beautiful and quite the juxtaposition from the rage of your youth.

thank you for peeling back another layer of the onion for us.

"... became the energy in the room."

YES! This. And that we can share so openly when given permission by our friends, and moved strongly by the openness and care of those around us, is and should remain a high water mark in our human experience.

I just finished this and I have goosebumps.

Thank you for sharing this.

🙏🏻 Thank you. It has become good practice to explore and share the love and respect and history that move back and forth along the rope we use to protect each other.

Your rage writing is great, but turns out your love writing is better.

Both this and last piece on Steve and you.

Thank you.

Thank you for this. I am finding my way out from under that 'rage writer' moniker, and learning to be and write as a whole, complicated, and sometimes messy human.
